Security Engineer focused on Vulnerability Research and Building Real-World Security

Who's Behind This?

It started with a workshop, but it became an obsession.

During my bachelor's, a single ethical hacking session hooked me on the mechanics of how systems break—and more importantly, how to catch them breaking.

That curiosity evolved into a career defined by deep research. From dissecting TCP/IP protocols to architecting AI-driven detection logic, I've transitioned from a student to a Senior Security Engineer.

Today, I research vulnerabilities not just because it's my job, but because I love the puzzle. Whether I'm analyzing a zero-day, writing a custom detection signature, or automating threat discovery, I'm always game.

Where I’ve Been

My professional journey in cybersecurity.

Qualys

Driving vulnerability management and security architecture improvements.

2021 - Present

Senior Security Engineer

2024 - Present
  • Currently developing signatures for the Qualys product to detect vulnerabilities across databases, applications, operating systems, TCP/IP protocols, and network devices.
  • Continuously researching new and emerging technologies, zero-day vulnerabilities, and actively exploited threats to create detection signatures for vulnerable assets.
  • As a Security Engineer, I also spend a proportion of my time keeping up with current vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures.
  • Collaborating with teams and contributing to improving signature quality.
  • Supporting marquee customers, handling escalations, resolving queries, and coordinating with support engineers for faster issue resolution.
